If your photographer cancelled last-minute, or you’re planning a quick elopement, I can help. Short-notice weddings are a regular part of my calendar, and I can be booked, briefed and on site with as little as 24 hours' notice.
Ready to go
With over ten years’ experience as a photographer, and many weddings under my belt, I’m ready to shoot your wedding as an emergency photographer. I’ve even shot weddings at a few hours’ notice and produced beautiful images.
I’m experienced with all kinds of venues, indoor, outdoor, with natural light or with additional lighting (which I always bring in the car just in case).

Pricing

I price full day weddings from £800, which includes:
Bride/Groom getting ready
Church/registry office
Reception until one hour after the first dance

If you don’t need coverage in the morning and prefer I start at the church, we can work out a partial-day package from £600

If you’re doing a low-key wedding and just want coverage of the ceremony, I offer this from £250, depending on location and time.

If the two of you are running off to get married without all the fuss (very exciting!) I offer tailored elopement packages. Prices depend on travel requirements and whether overnight stays are necessary.

I’m based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, but willing to travel. For last-minute weddings here are some rough travel times.
Hertfordshire (St Albans, Watford, Berkhamsted, Tring) - under an hour
Bedfordshire (Luton, Bedford, Woburn) - under an hour
Buckinghamshire (Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Amersham) - under an hour
Greater London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Surrey - up to 90 minutes
Kent, Hampshire, West Sussex, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Rutland - 90 minutes to 2 hours

With as little as 24 hours' notice, and in some cases the same day, subject to availability. Give me a call to discuss your plans, then contracts and retainers are handled digitally in minutes, so your date is secured without delay.

I balance weddings with commercial and portrait work, so prime dates are sometimes held open. Reschedules and seasonal shifts also free up dates, which are then offered to couples who need coverage quickly.

Yes. I cover micro-weddings from £250, and am also available for mid-week weddings from £600, depending on the package.

Scouting a venue is always preferable when it’s possible, but at short notice a decade of photography experience including weddings, corporate photography and all kinds of other events means I can adapt to capture beautiful images in any setting. across barns, historic buildings and modern city spaces. Being flexible on the day is standard practice. I prefer to use natural light but I do bring lighting setups for the occasions where some extra light is needed. Many of the images you see in my portfolio have been captured with no venue scouting.

Every wedding, however quickly it is booked, is secured with a clear written contract plus public liability and professional indemnity insurance. The contract sets out coverage hours, editing turnaround and backup arrangements, so everything is in writing from the start.

Once availability is confirmed, you receive a secure link to review the details, sign digitally and pay the retainer by card or bank transfer, all from your phone. Your date is locked in the moment those steps are complete.

Yes. Couples whose booked photographer cancelled within 14 days of the wedding receive the Emergency Let-Down Discount: £100 off a full-day package, or £50 off a half-day or micro-wedding package.
